Lego fun, and a cameo!
Okay, first thing's first:http://speedforce.org/2009/03/lego-rogues/lego-inertia/#comment-6248
Beautiful, isn't it? Brings a tear to my eye. DC, take note. We want a Minimate version of this, complete with a little blobby Craydl, and maybe packaged with an Impulse.
So I was going through my issues of Rogue War from 05, and I found something interesting on the cover of issue #225, just below the H in Flash:
Well, isn't that a kicker? I'd never noticed it before, and yet there he was. So I started looking for other cameos in the Flash series, and I found another. I'd actually known about it for a while (fashioned myself an LJ avatar with the picture), but this is the first time I've posted the picture here, I think. The pic is from a Flash fansite called Hyperborea. Inertia is #4, and tiny.
I'll try to find his cameo from the Titan's Deathtrap saga, but until then, keep an eye out for any more cameos you can find!
Oh, and before I forget...
Ta da! Our boy makes a quick cameo in the background of the fight. Isn't Pixelnertia cute? Current Mood: content

Two for the Price of One
Hi all. Been lurking around here for a while, but haven't posted up anything yet. First time for everything though. Over the past few months though, I've gotten rather hooked on writing Thad in a relationship with Tim Drake off in some cracky happy AU. And since I just finished these two (kinda), I thought I'd share.
It Had SprinklesPairing:
Tim Drake/Thad ThawneRating:
When is Thad's birthday anyway?Notes:
Yes, you read that right: Tim/Thad. Takes place in a cracky AU about 6 years in the future, give or take.Thad looked up from his book.Title:
Tim Drake/Thad ThawneRating:
Thad makes good use of a day off.Notes:
Same cracky AU. Separate entry from the other fic, so don't worry about stumbling over it. Totally smut though. And fluff.
"Must be awful having the day off."Cross posted to titans_together

Big, Freaky News
Thad has his own file in the Young Justice listing on y!Gallery.
And it's completely empty, because everyone was posting their Inertia stuff in the Impulse section.
And that is all. For now.

my fan girl is showing
woot I found your club Grey
ok I'd like to start by standing up and saying...
Hi my name is ______ and I'm a Inertia fan
one of the proud few
I'm not his biggest fan, that would I think be Grey but I'm a close 2nd and here is why
I have every comic he has been in (given most Thad fans do)
I draw him more then any other villain from comics hell more then most heroes
I have even started a few fanfics with him
I bought a 820$ Asian ball join doll to be Thaddeus (but I still need to sew his costume I'm trying to work out the pattern for it )
I'm working on a custom Inertia action figure
and even though I love Bart Allen AKA Impulse I was/am half way ok with Thad helping to kill him if only becuase it's what he was made/cloned to do
also how many bad guys can say they met their life goal? name one other I dare you
oh and I have playd Thad as an anti-hero in a pen and paper RPG for over a year now
I play him post killing Bart but as if that whole mess with Zoom never happened (and my god what a mess it was)
ok now my geek is really showing and this is going to go ranty if I don't stop my self here
I'll end this by saying Inertia may not have many fans and some of us may be a little nuts
but at least he has us and thats more then can be said for some
and remember everyone needs love even evil clones

If you've yet to read Rogues Revenge...
So sorry to curse at you, but GOD DAMNIT, THAD. How the cheese are we supposed to protect you now? I've already been mocked, taunted, and verbally abused on NINE DIFFERENT WEBSITES for still being your fangirl for the last year, then you go and MURDER TEN PEOPLE?! Jesus Christ on a freaking bicycle, Thad! THERE ARE BETTER WAYS TO USE YOUR RAGE. Punching the homeless, for instance. NOT making people's heads explode! though I've got to say, that intestine thing WAS pretty darn cool. And while I would be the LAST person to stop you from killing Wally and/or his offspring, it has been deemed by a jury of my peers that taking that sort of action so soon after being untimefrozen would be decidedly Not Cool.
So in the end, don't go with Zoom. Going places with Zoom is just like drinking something that Deathstroke gives you; a Very Bad Idea. Don't become the new Kid Flash, as Kid Flash is the lamest type of speedster one could possibly be. Keep the green and black. Peace out.
Eternal Lurve and a basket of Congrats on Not Being Timefrozen Anymore Muffins,
Touch of Grey Current Mood: GOD DAMNIT, DC!

Just something to pass the time
- Some people in Malaysia bathe their babies in beer to protect them from Thad Thawne.
- The water in oceans is four times less salty than the water in Thad Thawne.
- Humans have 46 chromosomes, peas have 14, and Thad Thawne has 7.
- Thad Thawne is actually a fruit, not a vegetable.
- Thad Thawne can not regurgitate.
- The pigment Indian Yellow was manufactured from the urine of cows fed only on Thad Thawne.
- Thad Thawne never said 'Play it again, Sam'!
- Thad Thawne can use only about ten percent of his brain!
- Thad Thawne is the male seed of a flower blossom which has been gathered and treated by bees!
- Never store Thad Thawne at room temperature!
"is a fruit, not a vegetable"...I knew it!
- Fuyuko Yuki has little need for water and is capable of going for months without drinking at all.
- Fuyuko Yuki cannot be detected by infrared cameras!
- Fuyuko Yuki is 1500 years older than the pyramids.
- The blood of mammals is red, the blood of insects is yellow, and the blood of Fuyuko Yuki is blue!
- The Australian billygoat plum contains a hundred times more Vitamin C than Fuyuko Yuki!

- Edinburgh imports three thousand kilograms of Fuyuko Yuki every year.
- More than one million stray dogs and half a million stray cats live in Fuyuko Yuki.
(My OC...don't ask, but it amused me greatly)
Got this the first time around, swear to crod. And yes, I know, these things have little to nothing to do with Inertia, but I wanted to do something funny and it is currently 4:30 in the morning and I am hopped up on caffine and THIS SEEMED LIKE A GOOD IDEA AT THE TIME MMKAY?! I shall see you (two) tomorrow, night!
Newsrama News Interview thing
NRAMA: We've seen some cover images. What's up with Inertia? Is he teaming up with Zoom? And did you design his costume?
SK: When Geoff told me what was going on between them, my eyes popped out. Just awesome stuff. Geoff first mentioned using the Kid Flash costume -- and I naturally switched the lightning bolt just like I did for Zoom years ago. As a side note, I didn't realize that hadn't been done. I assumed the lightning bolt has always been reversed like the costume was. I think that's one of those "falling into a river of gold" moments.
Nooooooo! Not with Zoom! Anyone but Zoom!
I mean this in the slashy sense, of course.
Here's the entire interview, if anyone is interested: http://www.newsarama.com/comics/080611-KolinsRRevenge.html
Another interview thing:
KD: Let's talk about a different punk: is that Inertia running around in a "Reverse-Kid Flash" costume? Who came up with that idea?
SK: Geoff, but I named him Kid Zoom. When Geoff told me how Zoom was going to influence this story, I knew this book was a home run.
KD: Oh wait. Inertia becomes Zoom's sidekick?
SK: No, not sidekick. Zoom has plans for Inertia and how he can continue to test The Flash and make the Flash a better super-hero. If you remember Zoom was a Rogue profiler – so he knew most everything there was to know about the Rogues. He's smart enough to know you can't team up with these villains – especially the psychotic ones like Inertia. But isn't Kid Zoom a better name? I like "Impulse" and "Inertia," but I think as concepts of the Flash books names like "Kid Flash" and "Kid Zoom" are stronger.
KD: Yeah, "Kid Zoom" definitely fits the mythos.

And now, a Message from your Moderator
WE'RE ALIIIIIIVE! Amazing, huh? It's been awhile, y'all, but darkenedspeed, like the lovable scamp we represent, REFUSES to go down without a fight. As a little present to all you loyal Thad fans, all three of us, here's a collage of Inertia, made in PictureIT with blood, sweat, tears, and a crapload of nabbed scans, icons, and fanart. If you see your icon or artwork in here and don't like it being here, tough titty. I'll credit anyone who speaks up in complaint, but I'm not removing it. I broke both my eyes and brain making this collage into proper wallpaper format for this community and if anyone thinks I'm gonna just hide it away again, HAHAHA NO. Besides, I made half of those icons myself, so nyah. Feel free to visit my main profile and gank 'em if you want, but credit. And now, enough about the Wonder of Me. He's your present, people! Enjoy!
Hope you like it, you guys! Current Mood: enthralled
